The RIFT

Ari has been playing RPG’s since the early 90′s – yeah, those pen and paper ones. Don’t ask her to list all the PC & Console RPG’s she’s played – we don’t have enough room for that.

But MMORPG’s have been a passion since 1999 when she played EQ – developed a love for raiding and joined Silent Redemption as Illiyenia the Enchanter.
After EQ came EQ2(2004) – raided hardcore on Guk in 2005/2006- met her husband (moved to the states in 2007 and got very happily married – and met Desi!!!).
Then WoW  off and on with lots of Raiding, EQ Progression Server,  VG, LotRO, WAR, AoC, Aion… and well now – Rift soon ™ with Primal

One day Ari swears she’ll get one of her rough draft manuscripts published… one day…

Desikis began playing WoW back in 07, just for a bit. Ari bought her WoW again in 2008 and they played together and Ari is in no way responsible for Desi’s addiction. Since then, Desi has played Aion and DDO, and is looking to find a home in Rift.

She’s a Theatre major in college and going to be an amazing designer one day!

Shyntyrr has been playing RPG’s since the Zelda and Diablo days. But MMO’s grabbed him hook line and sinker in 2004 where he tried and skillfully failed to be able to play a wizard and so – switched to a bard where he’s been casually raiding, raid leading and out dps’ing mages since 2006.

Faelor literally grew up playing MMOs – starting with EverQuest while he was attending middle school. Over the years he has tested and played most AAA MMOs with high-end guilds. In 2005 he finally settled in with Halcyon Affinity where he has assumed a variety of roles. From bench-warming applicant to guild leader, he has seen and done it all.

While he is enjoying his time in Rift, he has sworn to himself that he will critique as much as he can. If he is going to spend countless hours in a game, it’s going to get his feedback.

No Longer MIA : Kartys began his gaming days with console games like Zelda – and in 1998 he discovered Baldur’s Gate and was hooked. Then he found D&D… and then he was faced with: MMORPG’s.

Since then he has played: EQ2, Lineage 2, WoW, Vanguard, DDO, WAR, AoC, Aion. The lore of Rift has him hooked and now he waits quietly for launch, while writing articles for the podcast blog.

He is better known as ooc with all his *ooc named Characters in various MMORPGs on german servers He started playing MMOs in March 2005. EQ2 was his first MMORPG where he discovered the addiction of the MMOs, the community, co-operation to take down the hard content, dungeons and of course – the raids.

Other  MMOs such as WOW, LotRO, Vanguard, AoC, WAR and Guild Wars have occupied him for short periods of time, but now he is looking for a new game that will captivate him for a long time and he hopes Rift will be the one.

Kitty is the talented person behind our revamped and beautiful new banners and logos. She is a wonderful and amazing person who juggles children, her hubby and photoshop like a pro – and somehow even manages to find time to play mmos. We love her.

Is a silent partner and yes, this is Arithion’s husband. He might not like having a bio, but he’s getting one. He’s played EQ, EQ2, WOW, WAR, AOC, VG, Aion, LotRO, Lineage 2, FFXI and so many console game’s Ari’s lost count.

He puts up with an ocd, sometimes panicky wife and helps with podcast questions and audio checks. He’s a silent partner
