by The Rift Podcast Team on Mar.04, 2011, under Blog, Contests
Hey everyone! Hope you’re having a great Friday! It’s been quite a busy week at The Rift and I know Trion’s been quite busy too! Today marks the final day of Official Releases with Europe finally joining the rest of us on live (well, for those who didn’t pre-order)!
I know quite a few of you were disappointed that there was no Podcast last week – but don’t fear! We have a brand new that will be ready for your ears on Monday! This upcoming episode will detail Rift’s headstart and will feature a roundtable discussion with Esloan of HorRIFTic Intentions, Karen Bryan of Massively, Cindy ‘Abigale’ Bowens, and of course Arithion and Desikis!
As well, The Rift is looking to expand! Yes, we’ve been quite dedicated to bringing you weekly (usually!) Podcasts, but with the game finally being release we’ve decided to bring even more to the community!
Check below the break for some opportunities, announcements, and maybe some secret contest details!

The RIFT Podcast – Guild Screenshot Album Contest
by Arithion on Jan.22, 2011, under Blog, Contests
Guild Screenshot Album Contest
We want you and your guild to make a screenshot album for us. 7 screenshots are required. Each guild can come up with their own theme. All screenshots must be in line with whatever theme you choose. Six of the screenshots must be from different members of the guild, depicting at least 3 or more guild tags. And one of the screenshots must be of the Entire Guild as a group (or close to as many as you have in beta – like a huge family photo)
In the chat box, in guild chat, you must have the following visible in the screenshot:
Hi RiftPodcast, Beta 5!
(If you are wanting the screenshots to have no UI – then enable speech bubbles or send us the same screenshot with and without the UI so we can see the required message)
Now why would you do this? Because we have some great prizes.
Enjin guild hosting is currently working on a whole set of RIFT features to be implemented very soon, and have an amazingly versatile user interface. There are already several RIFT related sites. And so – Enjin have been kind enough to sponsor this podcast contest.
