Podcast 12: Catching up with Abigale and contest winner Karen
by Arithion on Sep.20, 2010, under Blog, Podcast
This week marks the return of Abigale as a staple in the podcast diet
– She sits down with us to talk about the Trion experience at Gamescom and PAX, the feedback they’ve been receiving at the conventions and from alpha, and the fact that our dev interaction will be getting back into full swing over the coming weeks. Keep in mind though – they still have a game to get finished.
Cindy also discusses the expanding community as well as the fact that beta will be sooner than it was a few months ago ![]()
We’re lucky enough to have Karen join us today as well. She won the competition by Beckett’s Massive Online Gamer Magazine in conjunction with Trionworlds and was invited to the Rift offices to experience the game and chat to the developers. We were excited to have her stop by and share her impressions and experience with us. Be sure to check out Karen’s Blog Journeys with Jaye. And her podcasts Shut up we’re Talking and A view from the Top as well. We hope to have her back on the show in the future.
Note: The game is still in Alpha and everything is subject to change. Thank you
This week we finally got the official reveal of the third Defiant race: The Kelari – along with their lore – at Massively.
We hope you enjoy the podcast.
