Podcast 18: Will Cook – indepth about Rifts & our VIP code winners

This week marks our 18th Podcast – we’ve been at it for a while now.

Will Cook, the Rift Events Lead, made some time in his busy schedule to come and chat to us indepth about Rifts and their place in the world of Telara. He covers many things including, and not limited to: Rift Rewards, Rift contribution, Rift dynamic content, different types of Rifts, Endgame Rifts and how they do differ from the WAR public Quest system.

It’s an enlightening look at one of the main concepts behind the game and how their development is ever changing and will continue to evolve post release.

Take a listen if you have a bit of time – it’s well worth it.

    So my big question on the rewards from the Rifts are going to be like the pqs in Warhammer. The pq system in Warhammer was horrible and never seemed to work. I do not know if it was ever fixed. We literally tested our theories out by having a person just sit there auto attacking every now and then and they somehow always came in first.

    1)Need to find picture of Will Cook. Ahem.
    2)NEED. PLAY. NOW. But must wait until Gamer day. Soon. Soooon…
    3)This was the BEST (even including the Hartsman one) podcast yet. A lot of confirmed information, and just a great way to get a feel for how the game will be. Just about everything I was thinking would be in the game, will be in it, that’s great.
